All Square

The second match of 2020 saw the Club welcoming Meinciau to Llanpumsaint. The night started with a close fought singles match with Aled going into the last end all square. The ninth end saw Aled holding 3 shots before Richard came down at speed to send the jack off the mat. With the end having to be replayed Richard took one to win the game.

On the other mat our regular pairs, Peter and Huw, took the points with a 11-4 win. The triples team of Huw, Jill and Patrick had a 10-5 win against a very experienced team from Meinciau.

The fours struggled on the night and handed the win to Meinciau. The Club have another home match next against local rivals Bronwydd.

Coronavirus Update

Due to the Corona Virus escalating the Officers of Carmarthenshire Short mat bowls have decided to postpone all competitions, we intend to hopefully arrange the Ko Cup and the Charity comp in October.
