Close but no cigar

Tonight was a close fought contest but Salem were the victors in the end. Our singles got off with a strong win by 14 points to 7.

Our pairs had a very close game with the score being 8 - 8 going into the last end. Salem with a very good shot picked up 2 to win 10 - 8 overall.

In the triples it was an open game with Salem winning 9 - 4.

Finally the fours in another close game came from 5 - 0 down, fighting back to 5 - 3 but ultimately losing 6 - 4.

Next week we will be playing away at Trimsaran, a tricky venue to play at with differing floor levels. Onwards and upwards!
