Congratulations to Rhys and Catrin Williams, representing their country for the first time yesterday (Sunday 23/3/19) as England Under 21's took on a Wales Under 21's squad at Tamworth Indoor Bowls Club in England.

Both Rhys and Catrin played in one of the 4's teams together along with Aaron and Sophie Slaughter from Meinciau and Daniel Jones from Bronwydd.

Although results did not go their way, the team played well, gaining valuable experience that will help them develop as players. From a squad of about 36 players, 15 were from Carmarthenshire.

England finished the day winning by 59 points and 417 shots compared to Wales' 21 points and 269 shots.
