Mixed Start To The Season

Starting the new season in style with a 6-2 win against Llanboidy A. The singles suffered a loss of 18-1 with the pairs holding on to claim a 10-2 win. Special mention has to go to the triples skipped by Catrin who nearly had a clean slate with an 18-1 win. The fours also coming away with a strong 10-4 win.

It was then a tough night at home against a very strong Trimsaran team with a 6-2 loss. In the singles it was very close until the last end but Trimsaran eventually won 9-5. The pairs lost 10-3 and triples lost 12-4 to strong opposition. The fours lead from the start with a 10-4 win.

The next game is away against Meinciau this week in the first away challenge of the season.

Coronavirus Update

Due to the Corona Virus escalating the Officers of Carmarthenshire Short mat bowls have decided to postpone all competitions, we intend to hopefully arrange the Ko Cup and the Charity comp in October.
