Singles Champion!!

A huge congratulations to Aled on becoming the county Singles champion for a second time. This year there was a high entry of 64 players.

Aled came up against his brother Gethin in the semi finals and though the score was close halfway through the match, pulled enough of a lead to hold on and win.

Aled then played Mark Beynon-Evans (Llanboidy A) in the final and got off to a flying start and won with a few ends to spare.

Gethin then played against Alun Jones (Bronwydd) in the 3rd/4th place playoff.

Cup winner - Aled Edwards (Llanpumsaint)

Runner up - Mark Beynon Evans (Llanboidy A)

Third - Gethin Edwards (Pontargothi)

Fourth - Alun Jones (Bronwydd)

All four now go on to compete at the national finals in the new year.
